Natural Ways to Deal with Crows Feet

Also known as “laugh lines” or “character lines,” crow’s feet are those tiny wrinkles that form around the corners of the eye. These lines develop as we age due to a reduction of the production of collagen and elastin, both of which provide elasticity to the skin. Other factors which can lead to crow’s feet including sun exposure, pollution, smoking, frowning, smiling, and squinting.

Natural Methods to Deal with Crow’s Feet

If you are experiencing crow’s feet, you’ll be happy to know that there are several natural ways to get rid of them. These remedies are made up of ingredients that you probably already have in your home.

Egg Whites — Egg whites tighten the skin to reduce the appearance of crow’s feet. Simply beat an egg white until it is foamy. Apply it to the eye area and leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse with cool water. Do this twice a week.

Papaya — This tropical fruit is rich in Vitamin C to help fight skin damage, as well as stimulate collagen production. Simply rub a piece of raw papaya on the affected area. Let it dry and then rinse. You can also mash up some ripe papaya, mix it with a tablespoon of olive oil to create a facial pack. Apply the paste to your face, leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse it off with cool water.

Milk — Milk contains glycolic acid that acts as an exfoliate. Dip a clean cloth in milk and apply it to your eye area. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, and then rinse with cool water. Repeat this process twice a day.

Vitamin E — Vitamin E is an antioxidant that can help regenerate new skin cells. Each night, apply the liquid in the vitamin E capsules around the eyes, and gently massage for a couple of minutes.

Coconut Oil — This oil is a natural moisturizer and lubricates and nourishes the skin cells. Simply rub a few drops of coconut oil on the skin around the eyes each night.

Other Crow’s Feet Remedies
